3 days tour from marrakech: 2 nights in Merzouga sahara desert
Day 1: Marrakech - Ouarzazate - Valley of the Roses - Dades Gorge
After breakfast, departure from your Riad or hotel.We are southbound across the high Atlas mountains passing via Tizi n'tichka at 2,260m altitude. We will take a trip to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate and we will travel through the wonderful Rose Valley to spend the night in the Dades Gorges. Dinner and overnight at an Hotel.
Day 2:Dades Gorge -Todra Gorge - Erfoud - Erg Chebbi
After breakfast we head to the Sahara Desert and the town of Merzouga Erg Echabbi. We will visit the palmeraie of Todra, Todra Gorge and we will take the way to Erfoud (city of fossils) to go to Merzouga desert. Late in the afternoon you will ride camels to cross the great desert dunes for about two hours to reach our luxury desert camp. We will spend an unforgettable night in the heart of the sahara desert in nomadic tents enjoying the stars, the moon, the sunset and the sunrise. Dinner and overnight in tents.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi - Alnif - Draa Valley - Marrakech
We take our camels coming back to the hotel, take a shower and have breakfast then we will take our way to have a look of the exotic market in Rissani (first imperial city in Morocco), the largest market in the south of Morocco. Taking the road east out of Rissani passing through Alnif and N'kob on our way to see the Draa Valley. We re cross the High Atlas on our return route to Marrakech, then the tour will be ended.
